Job purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for enhancing the Bank’s brand image and increasing the utilization of the Bank’s products, facilities, services and delivery channels.

Basic tasks

• Consolidate, promote and encourage the development of an innovative culture while ensuring compliance with the Bank’s objectives
• Co-create, evaluate and maintain a marketing strategy towards building brand awareness and positioning
• Manage the conception and development of all brand and product marketing campaigns as well as communications from start to finish
• Manage the design and implementation of marketing and promotional activities, marketing plans for new and existing products/services and support the Bank’s business functions in achieving its objectives.

Basic qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication or a related field and related qualifications from a recognized university
• Master’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, International Development or MBA in a related field and with relevant qualifications from a recognized university would be an added advantage but not a deciding factor
• Minimum 6 years, relevant work experience, 2 of which at managerial level
• Must demonstrate good customer management and service skills
