Spurs defeated West Ham 2-0 and returned to the top four of the Premier League thanks in part to Son Heung-goal, min’s who scored after being benched.

As Michail Antonio passed to Bowen, West Ham had the opportunity to equalize right away, but Fraser Forster made a great save before Kulusevski tried his luck at the other end.

Son was introduced by Spurs assistant Cristian Stellini with 22 minutes remaining, and it took him just four minutes to make an impact.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, may have been excused for not giving the Premier League visit of Leicester his entire attention.

The winner of the play-off match will undoubtedly be among the favorites to win the Europa League on Thursday, before the real silverware is up for grabs in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle the following weekend.

Ten Hag is careful to stress out that no other team in Europe remains in four tournaments, which is why he made five changes to his starting lineup against the Foxes on Sunday. Some people still think United has a part to play in the Premier League championship chase.

But, having Marcus Rashford on your team often makes the other ten players’ names seem unimportant.

Rashford was responsible for burying the opening goal at a time when Leicester was in control and creating chances easily. At the halftime, Rashford scored a crucial second goal to bring United to within three points of second-place Manchester City after eluding the offside trap.
