History
The “Teknologiska Institutet” started to offer instruction in technological disciplines with a strong professional focus in 1827, which is when the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, also known as “Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan,” or KTH, was founded.
Education
One three-year bachelor’s degree program in information and communication technology is available in English.
Students having a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent can choose among 60 two-year master’s degree programs offered in English at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Student assistance
You can re-register for a course, pick up tests, or buy course compendiums, among other things, at a student office (also known as a course office). The department or school in charge of the course will determine which office you should go to. You should instead contact your education office or program counselor if you have any questions concerning the courses you should enroll in or your studies on your program.
housing solutions
Unfortunately, securing a housing offer from KTH is not guaranteed for exchange students or master’s students from the EU. It is therefore a good idea to start looking for private housing as soon as possible due to the housing situation in Stockholm.
It is not the responsibility of KTH Accommodation to help students find housing outside of KTH.
KTH Accommodation’s only service is to provide housing from the places we administer.
libraries’ offerings
The first acquisitions and contributions created the groundwork for the KTH Library in 1825. The emphasis in resource procurement today is on electronic resources. When purchasing materials or beginning new subscriptions, the library pays close attention to requests from students, teachers, and researchers.
The KTH Library offers databases, e-books, and e-journals through free access, subscriptions, and outright sales.
medical assistance
The social insurance that pays for government-subsidized healthcare for all citizens underwrites the Swedish healthcare system. Healthcare is offered by both public and private organizations.
