The Commercial Bank of Tanzania is seeking to recruit a dedicated, motivated, self-regulated and highly regulated Commercial Sales Manager (one position) to join the Corporate Banking Directorate.

JOB OBJECTIVES
The position holder will be responsible for leading the creation and sale of trade finance solutions to clients including government, corporations, foundations and other business sectors in the areas of Trade Structured Solutions. In addition, he will be responsible for leading and implementing a trade strategy focused on enhancing trade between Tanzania and abroad from an import and export perspective and identifying opportunities to ensure sustainable growth of trading assets and fee income.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Selling comprehensive trade finance solutions to existing and potential clients
- Lead and implement a trade finance strategy for business growth.
- Participate in all transaction related offers to identify trade finance opportunities
- Solicit business from existing customers by increasing use under approved trade credit
border - Recommend pricing strategy for various trade finance solutions to business clients
- Organizing and presenting marketing and sales programs to clients for trade finance offerings/products.
- Cross selling of other banking products such as cash, deposit and credit solutions services.
- Encapsulating / structuring new commercial product programs to meet specific customer product requirements.
- Analyze and report on trade finance performance and profitability
- Review and provide feedback on customer satisfaction surveys, and respond to customer complaints.
- Liaise with Operations Center and other stakeholders, regularly review all operational standards for product deliverables and identify skill gaps
- Liaise with business units, operational functions and support to design and deliver appropriate training related to structured business solutions
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance and any other related fields from a recognized university/institution.
- Master’s degree/postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Business skills training courses will be an added advantage.
- At least five (5) years working experience in corporate banking in trade and transaction banking roles with at least two years in a sales position.
- Thorough understanding of the banking market and working knowledge of trade finance, credit and operations.
- Excellent understanding of banking products.
