Job Opportunities in UK for Foreigners-Senior Communications Manager

As a Senior Communications Manager:

• You will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation of the Simpler and Better Finance (SBF) programme.
• Working closely with members of the SBF Alignment team and the Senior Business Change Manager, you will plan,
• develop, manage and deliver a broad range of content for publication online,
• for sharing directly with stakeholders, or for use by colleagues to support stakeholder engagement and broader communications.

One of the key activities for this post will be to create appropriate targeted content, to improve and raise the awareness of the SBF Programme with key stakeholders (internally and externally) to ensure full understanding of how it will affect the business and end user.

To achieve this, you will:

• Proactively develop and deliver internal and external communication materials and stakeholder engagement activities, ensuring time is available for proper review and approvals prior to distribution and as necessary
• Evaluate communications activities, track effectiveness and participation, and provide feedback with suggested actions to increase engagement
• Participate in engagement activities, including meetings, presentations, promotional tours, town halls, workshops, newsletters, and interviews

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who:

• Has extensive knowledge of a variety of tools and methods used to communicate key messages, and how they can be applied and/or developed to meet program objectives
• Has strong written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively adapt communication methods and techniques to keep audience engaged
• Can be involved in the program from day one and quickly develop an understanding of how the role fits into UKRI’s broader strategy and vision
