According to the independent assessment organization in South Africa, the tests will last 11 weeks and begin on September 13, 2022, with students finishing them on November 29, 2022.

The IEB matric class of 2021 reportedly included 12 857 full-time and 968 part-time candidates from 238 examination centers who wrote in 267 locations throughout the nation between October and November.
