About

History
The Swedish Evangelical Free Church started a ten-week Bible school in the basement of a Chicago church in 1897, and that is where Trinity International University had its start. This quickly transformed into the Swedish Evangelical Free Church of America’s Bible Institute.

Just 25 miles north of Chicago is where the Deerfield campus of TIU is situated.

The Aldeen building is home to the TIU Fitness Center. The facility features a free weights area with kettlebells and medicine balls, as well as a studio for group exercise. COVID NOTICE: A health and temperature screening is required of everyone utilizing the fitness center. Inside the Fitness Center and Aldeen building, masks must always be worn, and social distance must always be maintained.
