How was the ranking determined?

All 584 nursing schools accredited for graduate programs were included in the US News survey. In the end, the required data was available for 253 MSc and 183 DNP programmes. The rankings are based on weighted and standardized scores on 14 indicators.

The variously weighted indicators covered assessment of program quality based on factors such as peer rating by the deans of nursing and graduate schools; GPA of undergraduate students accepted into the program; and software size.                              Top Graduate Nursing Schools in US

The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing currently has 76 full-time faculty members and 775 registered nurses in graduate programs. It is one of the oldest nursing schools in the United States. The nursing training program was introduced at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1889 and Notting was one of the first groups of graduates. Within a few years, she was in charge of the program and eventually pioneered far-reaching reforms in nursing education across the United States. Top Graduate Nursing Schools in US
