ABOUT AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS (AFCON)
The Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is the premier football competition in Africa, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament is held every two years, and it brings together the best national teams from across the continent to compete for the coveted trophy.
The 2023 edition of AFCON will be hosted by Ivory Coast, and it is scheduled to take place from June 23 to July 23, 2023. A total of 24 teams will participate in the tournament, including the defending champions, Senegal.
