Job purpose:
Food distribution to refugees is a very sensitive aspect, hence the purpose of this role is to carry out the food distribution process in the designated chute, which includes food distribution planning, execution and reporting. As the field controller will be responsible for implementing SCOPE and crowd control in order to provide efficient services.

Main responsibilities

• Percentage of time end results of activity
• 10% Develop daily chute distribution plan Develop daily distribution plan and share it with the main supervisor
• 50% oversight of the food recall process to ensure the beneficiary receives the correct entitlement.
• 10% Manage food destined for him/her lubricant as per standards also adhere to food handling principles
• 10% supervision of shovels designated for chutes
• Providing high quality services
• 5% Compilation of food distribution quality reports collected and submitted
• 5% Supervising the cleanliness of the chute is always clean
• 10% participate in food prep exercises. Active participation is live

Knowledge/Qualifications for the role

• Professional experience required One year experience working with humanitarian operations,
• Experience in handling merchandise management
• Experience working with refugee programs
• Education required, training, license, registration and certificate
• Commodity management training, response training.

Preferred knowledge and qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Procurement and Community Economic Development
• The degree is an added value

Travel and/or Work environment

• refugee camps

Physical requirements

• Language must be appropriate physically
  requirements
• English and Swahili
