Aryan Benevolent Home (ABH) Nursing School Registered, Accredited Courses

The ABH Nursing School is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education as a Training College and our courses are fully accredited nationally and internationally, with

graduates receiving certificates from the Department of Education. We offer both a one-year enrolled nursing assistants course and and a two-year enrolled nurses course. Clinical training takes place at local provincial hospitals, including the RK Khan Hospital,

Clairwood Hospital and Addington, as well as within our own frail care centres. Our students consistently achieve outstanding results, a tribute to the quality of the training receive under the guidance of Sr K Pillay, principal of the school.

Aryan Benevolent Home (ABH) Nursing School Facilities

The new Victor Daitz Nursing & Training Centre, which opened in June 2009, offers modern and

well-proportioned classrooms, offices and a skills laboratory, capable of accommodating

student nurses annually.

ABH has been offering formal nursing training for over 15 years. What originally began as a

facility to help personnel gain formal qualifications has become an important job creation, poverty

alleviation and empowerment programme.

With a shortage of trained nurses globally, students who complete the course are virtually

guaranteed to find employment.

Tuition fees provide a valuable source of income to support our other programmes, and for those

students who are unable to pay fees, various funding permutations exist.
