JOB TITTLE: Census Clerk (KARANI WA SENSA)

Tasks for Performing Applicant for this position, if elected he will be required to attend the training of clerks where after training he will be required to return to his place of origin or be assigned any other place for the following functions: –

i) Identify the boundaries of the census by comparison and a map of the census area and a description of the boundaries contained in the map;

ii) Collaborate with the supervisor and the leadership of the area to identify whether in the census area there are special groups that need to be counted in a specific order different from ordinary households;

iii) Interviewing the community questionnaire at the neighborhood / street / shehia level;

iv) To calculate all persons sleeping within the boundaries of the census area on the eve of Census Day within the stipulated time;

v. Post in the system the work done and completed daily NBS / OCGS Headquarters;

vi) To use all Census materials and documents in accordance with the intended objectives; maintain them and submit them to the Supervisor after the work is completed;

vii) Reporting to the Census Supervisor on challenges in the implementation of census responsibilities;

viii) Calculate all buildings in the area within the allotted time; ix) Register all residential addresses in the area within the timeframe set by;

x) To perform such other functions as the Census shall be determined by its Leader.

JOB TITTLE: CONTENT SUPERVISOR (MSIMAMIZI WA SENSA)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks for Performing Applicant for this position, if elected he will be required to attend the Census Supervisors training after which if successful he will be required to

Attend Census clerk training and return to the area of ​​origin or assigned to any other area to perform the following tasks: –

i) Ensure that every Census clerk identifies the census area;

ii) Ensuring that each clerk has the necessary equipment as listed in the “Census Clerk’s Guide”.

iii) Ensuring that clerks understand the work and their schedules are well prepared and follow them;

iv) Ensure that the community questionnaire at the Kitongoji / Mtaa / Shehia level is fully interviewed by the relevant clerk within three days before the census day;

v) Collaborate with local authorities to identify whether in the census area there are special groups that need to be counted in a specific order different from ordinary households;

vi) Allocate households to each clerk according to the prescribed procedure if one census area will have more than one clerk and ensure all households in the area are counted and counted only once;

vii) Ensuring that all persons sleeping within the boundaries of the census area on the eve of Census Day are counted;

viii) Ensuring that every building in the Suburb / Census area is reached and counted after the main Census exercise based on the areas where the Census Clerk was allocated during the census exercise;

ix) Ensure that all residential addresses in the Suburb / Counting Area are registered;
