The first step in the history of Aarhus University was made on September 11, 1928, when 64 students began “University Studies in Jutland” in rented space. One professor and four senior associate professors made up the whole staff. There were 8,000 staff members and 38,000 students overall at Aarhus University in 2018. (full-time equivalent).

The University of Aarhus does not include Student Housing Aarhus. It is a separate entity from the one that distributes the majority of residence halls.
You don’t live on campus in Aarhus. The homes are spread out around the Aarhus region, including in the outlying areas, however they are always close to public transportation. In every residence, you are responsible for handling your own cooking, cleaning, laundry, and other household chores. When applying for a room, be aware that very few households provide furniture. If you select an unfurnished room, you will have to furnish it once you get there.
The State and University Library, which is situated in the University Park’s northwest corner, offers scholarly publications for all of Aarhus University’s faculties. While the top floor of the library has spaces for relaxation, the reading rooms and study group rooms are located there.
