Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with All Barrick’s policies and procedures
• He checks the location of the container before and after taking stock
• Performs pre-planned stock taking process in accordance with established standard operating procedures
• Captures inventory counted in computer system as per procedure.
• Records and investigates/resolves inconsistencies found by conducting a thorough investigation
• Computed inventory is submitted in the approval system as per DOA
• Monitors all security and safety procedures
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and tidy
• Filling in and archiving documents resulting from inventory counting activities
• Prepares and submits information requested by auditors (internal or external)

Qualification requirements:

• Certificate in Warehouse or Materials Management

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in an inventory management and/or maintenance planning role, preferably in the mining industry

Skills/Knowledge Requirements:

1. Strong analytical and problem solving skill
2. Have a detailed understanding of various inventory management tools and systems (ERP/EMS).
3. Knowledge of basic MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
