This guide will show you how to go to UTAS MyLO and surrounding it.

1. Click the MyLO link at the top of the UTAS main website (www.utas.edu.au) or the Current Students page (www.utas.edu.au/students).
2. Then go to utas.edu.au/mylo and click the green and blue MyLO logo.
3. Use your UTAS email address and password to log in.
4. The “My Home” page on MyLO will appear. This page contains a list of all MyLO units that you have access to. The Waffle “Unit Selector” can be used to access these units.
5. There may be a large number of units available. Some of these are equally important resources; however, they do not contain anything you must complete as part of your studies (e.g., Turnitin & Academic Honesty, Getting Started in MyLO, LIST: Library & Information Skills Tutorial).
6. The “award units” you’ve enrolled in for your degree have a code name that starts with three letters and ends with three numbers, such as CAD002.
7. By clicking the link at the upper left of every MyLO page, you can return to “My Home” from any unit.
8. Investigate your options. Select from a variety of tools and links, such as Content, Discussions, and so on. You’re unlikely to break anything, and you won’t get lost – simply click the unit name (to the right of the “My Home” link) to return to the “main page” of any unit.

How to self-enroll via discover course catalog IN UTAS MyLo Login

Within UTAS MyLO, the Discover Course Catalog offers a list of active non-award and development units and programs, allowing you to self-enroll in units that will assist you with your studies and professional development.

If you don’t have access to non-award units in MyLO, look them up in the Discover Course Catalog. You can self-enroll in the Unit and have immediate access from here. Getting Started in MyLO, Turnitin and Academic Honesty, and Work, Health, and Safety are just a few of the units available in the Discover Course Catalog for staff and students.

• Log in to your UTAS MyLO account. A menu called Discover Course Catalog will appear on the Navigation bar. Select it by clicking on it.
• You will be able to enroll in a variety of topics, including Work Health and Safety, Turnitin and Academic Integrity, and Getting Started in MyLO.
• You can enlist in a unit by pressing any tile or searching for one using the search tool. More information on the unit will be displayed as a result of this action. Select Enroll in a Course from the drop-down menu.
• Once you’ve enlisted, you’ll get a confirmation message on your screen. By selecting Open Course from the Discover tool, you will have direct access to the Unit.
• You can also find this Unit in the My Units Widget by selecting the relevant semester or searching the Select a Unit Waffle in the menu bar. If you wish to have quick access to the Unit, pin it.
• It’s worth noting that once you’ve enrolled in a unit, it won’t show up in the Catalog unless you modify your filter to show all of the units you’ve already enrolled in. You’ll only see the units you haven’t enrolled in by default.
