The registration period for new students will start in a few weeks. We are thrilled to have you join the UPM community. We place a lot of importance on your registration going smoothly. Please take time to properly study the following crucial information:

• ACCEPTING UPM OFFER

Please complete this application form and email it to the appropriate faculty and advisor for help if you intend to modify your program or area of study. For further action, the completed form should be forwarded to pg admission@upm.edu.my. To prevent any delays, it is advisable that you complete it earlier—at least two weeks before the registration week.

All applicants must accept the admissions offer by logging into the Postgraduate Application Portal (http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsportal/) before continuing with registration.

If a candidate has trouble logging into an online course or for any other reason, they may defer to the next intake. Please be aware, though, that our offer is only good for the first two semesters.

UPM Masters Application Online Application

New postgraduate students will be registered by UPM online via PutraENROLL. Candidates who accept or defer an offer to First Semester 2021/2022 have access to PutraENROLL. Candidates must finish all sections and upload all necessary files into the system. Before beginning an online registration, please carefully read the PutraENROLL User Manual to assist you gather the necessary paperwork. Students who get the following scholarship must pay an additional fee:

181. b) JPA PPC : RM600.00
182. c) KPT SLAB/ SLAI/ HLP : RM180.00
183. d) KPT MTCP : RM230.00
184. e) KPT MIS : RM230.00
185. f) KPM :  RM180.00

Before uploading the combined document to PutraENROLL, please make payment to 8002155042 (U.P.M COLLECTION) and combine the receipt with the scholarship offer letter.

Within a week, UPM will review and approve all the paperwork. To acquire the most recent registration status, periodically check your PutraENROLL. Additionally, you will be notified through email if any part of your PutraENROLL is refused or if the registration procedure has been successful. You will also receive your matriculation number.

LATE REGISTRATION

new students may register until:

– Coursework program: 29 October 2021 (11.59 pm)
– Research program: January 14, 2022 (11.59 pm)

Please be advised that:

After the aforementioned deadline, no new students may register for coursework programs.

There are no courses that can be registered for after 6 January 2022 for the programme by research, with the exception of research (Master Research – 6 credits / Doctoral Research – 6 credits).

Visit the student portal by going to http://sgsportal.upm.edu.my:8080/sgsport al in the first step.

• How do I get UPM?

Master’s programs require a bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.75, a bachelor’s degree and three years of related work experience (if the CGPA is between 2.50 and 2.75), or a bachelor’s degree and five years of related work experience (if the CGPA is less than 2.50).
