The Mapinduzi Cup 2023/2024, which started on December 28, 2023, including 12 teams from six countries, is expected to end on January 13, 2024, Mapinduzi Cup 2024 Fixtures, Table and Results: Mapinduzi Cup 2023-24.

The Quarter Finals of the Championship are expected to be played on January 7 and 8 and the Semi Finals will be played on January 10 while the Final will be played on January 13,2024.

The first semi-final will pit the winner between Yanga SC vs APR FC against the winner between KVZ FC vs Mlandege FC.

The Second Semi-Final will pit the winner between Azam FC vs Singinda Fountain Gate FC against the winner between Simba SC vs Jamhuri SC.

ABOUT MAPINDUZI CUP

Mapinduzi Cup is a knockout football tournament in Zanzibar. Revolution in the sense of Revolution in recognition of the Zanzibar Revolution.

Mapinduzi Cup is a competition created by the Zanzibar Football Federation to celebrate the day of the Zanzibar Revolution which is celebrated every year on January 12.

This competition was held for the first time in 1998. However, the cup is played between Zanzibari clubs and clubs from mainland Tanzania.

Since 2013 clubs from Kenya and Uganda have been invited to participate regularly. Along with the Zanzibar Cup and the Nyerere Cup, the three championships are the main knockouts in the islands of Zanzibar.
