Description
The purpose of the role:
• Overall accountability for managing new and existing projects to meet strategic business objectives
• Develop, plan, implement and evaluate projects according to predetermined schedules
• Lead all M-Pesa business initiatives and partnerships and ensure that they are implemented in a timely manner
• Manage projects and ensure quality control throughout project life cycles
Key Responsibilities and Decision Ownership
• Develop project plan, briefs, activities and deliverables as per project expectations and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Coordinate and ensure that all M-PESA business projects & milestones are delivered within agreed timelines and proactively manage changes in project scope.
• Ensure accurate, continuous, regular and consistent on time reporting of progress on Project Status to all stakeholders and management (internal and external).
• Work closely with sales and sector managers to develop appropriate initiatives, campaigns and partnerships for organizations
• Plan and facilitate effective meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Consistently monitor the performance of projects and initiatives

You must have technical/professional qualifications:

• Telecommunication experience would be beneficial.
