FINANCE MANAGER (1POSITION)

The purpose of the role

1. The Chief Financial Officer is the senior member of the Finance and Administration department and heads the accounts, reconciliation and treasury functions while reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

2. The CFO will play an essential role in developing long-term goals including writing proposals for investment/risk analysis that will aid in the growth of the business as well as implementing financial strategies established by management.

3. Ensure that the Finance Department complies with all applicable legal, regulatory and operational risk requirements to minimize risks that may result from non-compliance with policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES

• Certificate in Accounting with CPA/ACCA or equivalent in Statutory Accountancy required.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
• 5 years minimum (two years as supervisory accounting positions).
• Work with at least one accounting computer systems.
• Strong experience in the financial management of a company, desirable as a financial institution.
• Good knowledge of microfinance and banking principles and practices.

HEAD OF DIGITAL BANKING (1POSITION)

The purpose of the role

1. The Head of Digital Banking (HDB) is responsible for ensuring that FINCA’s digital banking strategy is optimal, given current and emerging digital realities, opportunities and threats. Microfinance Bank Jobs in FINCA 2022

2. HDB supports the use of information and technology in designing a business model and all aspects of the business to achieve business success. HDB Bank is responsible for managing and developing relationships with stakeholders in the country to enable revenue growth of the Bank from digital banking products.

Qualifications, Abilities and Experience Required

• 4+ years of experience as a digital business manager and/or B2B business development and/or digital financial services
• A proven track record that includes combinations of the following: Business Development, Sales Strategy, Stakeholder Management, Account Management
• Experience in influencing and gaining support from executive sponsors, team members, the Board of Directors and other governance committees.
• Previous work experience in the Fintech/financial services field
• Strong understanding of the digital payment ecosystem of mobile networks and banks in Tanzania
• Good knowledge of digital financial services and digital products
• Must possess very strong digital and technical knowledge across platforms and up-to-date with the latest market developments
• Very expert in dealing with popular and emerging social media and has been an active user
• Excellent communication skills. Able to build strong relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders
• A strong team player who brings a passionate, energetic and innovative approach to FINCA
• Proactive and self-driving. Able to prioritize and manage complex projects and achieve results under pressure
