About NTSA

On October 26, 2012, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) was founded by an Act of Parliament, Act Number 33. The Authority was established with the goal of harmonizing the operations of important road transport departments, assisting in the proper management of the road transport sub-sector and reducing the number of people killed in car accidents.

All government services are accessible through eCitizen. As you may recall, prior to the creation of the eCitizen site, obtaining government services was a difficult undertaking fraught with state bureaucracy worries, not to mention long lines that Kenyans had to face. All of this has changed since Kenyans no longer have to travel long distances or wait in enormous lines for government services.

The general public can now apply with ease.
